Children and Families
Children and youth are an integral part of our community and we strive to create programming and events that focus on building an inclusive community, nurturing our spiritual journey, and having fun! We honour and celebrate all kinds of families as part of our commitment to being a fully inclusive and Affirming community of faith.
Every Sunday morning we have age-appropriate programming for children that runs adjacent to our worship service! Children from the ages of 0-3 are welcome in our Children’s Play Centre at any time. Children from age 3 to Gr. 7 are welcome to stay in the Sanctuary for the first part of the service, then head to our Kids Programming Centre’s with their leaders for a fun and interactive time. Events for youth and young adults are being planned with our community and in partnership with other churches in Calgary.
Our leaders are caring, passionate, experienced, and carefully plan activities, themes, crafts, and conversations that incorporate spiritually progressive themes. All children are welcome, no matter their faith background!
After the service the children meet their parents/guardians in our Hospitality Hall for juice and cookies or hot dogs and chips during our monthly Hot Dog Sundays.
