2023 Stewardship Campaign: Testimonial 3, Bob and Eleanor Anderson

During our 2023 Stewardship Campaign we will be sharing Testimonials from some of our members. We hope that you enjoy them!

Bob and Eleanor Anderson

McDougall United Church has always been a central part of our lives after moving into Acadia in 1968. Our children were baptized at McDougall and attended Sunday school and all the youth programs available to them. At that time there were hundreds of children and nearby schools were also used for the Sunday school programs.

We have been involved in various volunteer activities over the years and have seen many changes, including the expansion of the church which was a major endeavour. The people of McDougall “cemented” a firm foundation of friendship when we rebuilt the church together. We have met many wonderful people over the years, many of whom are our close friends today. We consider McDougall people to be our family. We have been thoroughly blessed to have been involved in such a stable church throughout the years. Now as seniors, we attend the various senior programs offered and are so grateful to still be part of the McDougall team.
