Hello Acadia - We are on Page 12: Have you checked out the latest edition of Hello Acadia magazine? If you have, you may have noticed that our Fall Artisan Market is advertised on Page 12. Our Fall Artisan Market volunteers are hard at work putting together this years event. We hope to see you on Saturday, October 4. You can see the magazine here.
Alvin Dixon Memorial Run: Very early on Sunday, August 5th the Alvin Dixon 5k Memorial Run took place. This run was part of the GC 45. A HUGE thank you goes out to our volunteers from McDougall and Red Deer Lake United Churches who showed up extremely early to help out. See pictures here.
Junie B. Jones Wrap Up: Guests were treated to two wonderful performances of Junie B. Jones The Musical on August 2nd and 3rd. The show was put on by the campers from our first ever Summer Stage! Musical Theatre Camp. Continue reading and see pictures.
Feed the Hungry used Book sale and Chili Luncheon: On Sunday, September 7th we are planning a fundraising used book sale and chili lunch to raise funds for our commitment to the St. Mary’s Feed the Hungry dinner on October 19th. Please drop off your gently used fiction books at the office anytime after August 27th. Books will be set up for sale in the Hospitality Hall from Sunday September 7th - 11th. Additional information will be forthcoming on how you can sign up to be a volunteer at the October 19th dinner.
