We acknowledge the history, culture and spirituality of the Siksika, Kainai, Pikani, Tsuut’ina and Nakoda peoples of Treaty 7, and their traditional territories within which McDougall United Church resides. We are proud, as Canadians, to share in the ongoing Treaty relationship with Indigenous people, and in the special relationship we honour with the Metis Nation of Alberta and their many members in Region 5 (Calgary Nose Hill Métis District) and 6 (Calgary Elbow Métis District).
