The Gingerbread Kit Drop-off was a huge success!
The gingerbread houses look great. The kids enjoyed it. Kits were delivered to all the Messy Church families. The families enjoyed making them.

Christmas Hamper Thank You!

On Thanksgiving Monday my partner Andrew and I went for a hike on the Grassi Lake Trail in Canmore, Alberta. It was a chilly afternoon with a light dusting of snow covering the ground from the morning snow. As the clouds were clearing, the sun started to shine brightly warming the air and melting the snow.

United Church of Canada makes and Historic Declaration to Become an Anti-Racist Church. On Saturday October 24, 2020, the Commissioners of the 43rd General Council voted to declare the denomination to become an anti-racist church.

With the closure of our building due to the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic in March and the loss of our primary renter at the end of the summer, McDougall has taken a significant financial hit this year. Fortunately, through the work of our innovative, staff team, our Operations team and volunteers, the important work of our church has continued.
