Lights in the Link
An Interactive Community Art Installation

Red Deer Lake Church invites the community to take part in Lights in the Link, a collaborative art installation creating a faux stained-glass window display inspired by the season of Advent.
This evolving project reflects the traditional Advent themes — Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love — symbolized by the candles lit throughout Advent. While the installation is already underway, it is intentionally unfinished, leaving space for the community to help complete it.
Over three evenings, visitors are invited to:
View the artwork created so far, enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate, Christmas music and create their own piece inspired by one of the Advent themes to be added to the window.
All artwork will be displayed in the church windows until January 6. Artists may return on that date to reclaim their piece, or choose to leave it with the church to become part of next year’s installation.
Come experience the light already shining — and add your own. This is a free event.
