As we prepare for Sisters in Spirit Day, we take a moment to prepare a space of healing, a space of self-care and a space of sharing to promote wellness for our cis-sisters and two spirit relatives. This workshop is a way to allow Indigenous Women and Two Spirit people to grieve, share, remember and honour the lives of those lost in order to gain perspective on our own lives. This session will be hosted by Teresa Snow, Nechi Counsellor and Wellness Instructor, along with Shelley Rose May, Wendy Walker and Winona Lafrienere. Sponsored by the Urban Indigenous Circle and the Chinook Winds Region of the United Church of Canada. Due to Covid Restrictions, a limited number of spots will be available. We will be observing all provincial health safety guidelines including mandatory masking, social distancing, screening, sanitation and hygiene, as well as contact tracing sign-in.
