This week you are in for a treat! We are taking a break from Reel Theology and are pleased to welcome Howie Cummings as a guest speaker.

Bio of Howie Cummings

Howie Cummings has a special interest in human rights and interfaith activity. He has a Masters Degree in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Saskatchewan and has pursued a teaching career for many years in such cross-cultural settings as the Inuit of the high Arctic, the Heiltsuk of the Bella Bella BC coast, a Hutterite colony in Saskatchewan and finally as a professor at a Teacher’s College in the People's Republic of China. Howie's exposure to different cultural and linguistic groups enriched his teaching career and appreciation of the oneness of humanity.

Now retired, Howie enjoys wood carving, fly fishing and cycling on his recumbent tricycle. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, grandchildren in particular.
