Sarah found her love of the written word early in life and when it came time to continue her schooling, fused her love of business and writing together to get a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Marketing from the University of Calgary. After over a decade working in the Oil and Gas industry, COVID hit. Sarah was on maternity leave at the time and never went back. Instead, she started homeschooling her two girls, fell in love with the freedom it provided the family, and decided to pursue a part time job that allowed her to spend lots of time with her family. No stranger to the United Church (Southwood United in Edmonton followed by Deer Park in Calgary), this job came at exactly the right time. Sarah and her family have really enjoyed getting to know everyone at McDougall United Church. When not working or spending time with family, Sarah enjoys reading, writing and listening to podcasts.
