Prepared to Drown: Special Guests for February - Part 2
Prepared to Drown is a monthly recorded podcast & live event with a variety of exciting themes exploring the intersection of faith & the world we live in today. Our next live recording is Friday, February 20, 2026
Podcast Episode: “Drawn from the Headwaters”
Scripture has always invited us to imagine beyond the page. This episode explores biblical fan fiction as creative retellings, backstories, and “what-ifs” that generations have used to search for deeper meaning. From ancient midrash to modern queer and marginalized voices, how can imaginative storytelling sharpen our faith, challenge our assumptions, and reveal truths the text leaves unsaid?
Podcast features: Rev. Bill Weaver and Ricardo De Menezes, with special guests Rev. Dave Holmes, Robin Padanyi and Nick Johnson.
