Property Report December 2025

Since our last report the TELUS cell phone tower construction was completed with no major issues or interruptions. With the tower occupying some of the south parking lot, some changes were made including removal of most of the south property fence, some landscaping, and minor parking lot maintenance. This has resulted in higher than usual costs for maintenance this year but will be a benefit long term.

Much of the lower level is leased to Jesus Baptist Church Calgary with McDougall retaining use of a meeting room, studio space for Danah Cox programs, Acadia Pantry dedicated room, storage space, and a podcast room used for several purposes. With the additional programs happening downstairs east end, we are encouraging increased use of the yellow “Soul Cellar” south east entrance door.

Jerimiah Laquette is now working as full time caretaker for McDougall due to increasing usage of the building. Some work which was done by contractors or others will now be done by Jerimiah.
