The Benevolent Fund: Thank You

Today we get to announce that we are wrapping up our Benevolent Fund matching campaign. Together we have raised a total of $12,605.00. As the campaign comes to a close, we want to offer our deep gratitude for the generosity this community has shown. Together, we have exceeded our original goal of $10,000.00, strengthening a ministry that quietly supports individuals and families in moments of real hardship.

What this response makes visible is something far deeper than a financial milestone. It speaks to the kind of community we are becoming and the values we are choosing to live by. Again and again, you have demonstrated that care for our neighbours is not simply an idea we affirm, but a commitment we practice.

Because of your support, the church is better prepared to respond when someone reaches out in a moment of vulnerability. The Benevolent Fund allows care to be offered with dignity, confidentiality, and compassion, ensuring that people are met with practical assistance, respect and humanity. This is one of the ways our faith takes shape in the world around us, as we seek to love and serve one another through life’s more difficult seasons.

While this campaign is concluding, the ministry it supports continues. If, at any time, you feel called to contribute to the Benevolent Fund beyond your regular offering, your gift will help sustain this work and ensure that the church remains ready to respond with thoughtful and timely care.

For now, we are so grateful for your shared commitment to this campaign. Your generosity has strengthened this ministry and affirmed our deep commitment to this shared calling to be a community shaped by compassion, presence, and faithful service.
