Leadership Council: Volunteer Positions Week 2

Leading up to the McDougall AGM on March 1st, we will be reviewing each of the volunteer positions that make up our leadership council. Many of these positions are up for nominations. We encourage you to review these positions and consider whether one of them might be something you could do, or if you know someone else who would be an amazing fit. This week we will be looking at the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer.

Treasurer

  • Chief Financial Officer

  • Responsible for church treasurer duties identified in UCC Policy Manual 

  • Prepares and presents financial statements for oversight  at monthly Operations WG meetings

  • Prepares and presents budget updates at LC meetings and Year-end Financial Report to the congregation at  the AGM.

Assistant Treasurer

  • Supports the Treasurer by taking on specific treasurer duties identified by the Leadership Council  e.g. Annual Budget.

  • May report on behalf of Treasurer at Operations, Council or the AGM
