McDougall is very excited to partner with LINKages and Lord Beaverbrook to bring a multi-generation club to McDougall.

LINKages Society of Alberta provides programs and services that encourage young people to connect with seniors in ways that are mutually beneficial. They are a charitable organization, funded through donations. They are committed to fostering relationships between generations and offering students the opportunity to connect with seniors who live independently or in a care facility.

Our programs promote youth and senior volunteerism and we are committed to both age groups to make a difference in their community. Seniors become a voice of encouragement and celebration in the lives of youth. Youth and seniors both report increased feelings of belonging to their community.
