Podcast Episode: “Shifting Tides”
When harm comes to light, how do we respond with integrity?
This episode explores accountability, "cancel culture", and the tension between consequences and repair.
Together we ask what justice actually requires, how moral language gets used and misused, and how communities can respond without denial or cruelty.
A thoughtful conversation for anyone navigating faith, responsibility, and change in a divided world.
Podcast features: Rev. Bill Weaver, Ricardo De Menezes, Rev. Joanne Anquist with special guest Rev. Tony Snow.
Rev. Tony Snow is a member of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation. He grew up on Treaty No. 7 land at Morley, Alberta, where his father Dr. Rev. Chief John Snow Sr. attended the Morley Indian Residential School. Tony is a Day School Survivor who now works as the Indigenous Minister of the United Church of Canada’s Chinook Winds Region. As a Traditional Knowledge Keeper, minister and consultant, Tony has worked for decades in public engagement and government relations, bringing awareness and healing to communities of faith and Indigenous peoples, as a continuation of his father’s and grandfather’s work.
