The Acadia Food Pantry Information, June 2026
The Acadia Food Pantry (AFP) is a no barrier program that provides free food to those in need on the third Tuesday of each month, 11:45 am – 12:45pm. It was established in April 2019 when two Acadia residents and the City of Calgary Community Social Worker for Acadia reached out to Christ Moravian and McDougall United to help support the large number of people living in Acadia who experience food insecurity and were not fully served by the Calgary Food Bank.
